A KINGDOM THAT UNITES - STRING THEORY IN MOTION

So we have just left the United Kingdom and the experience went down a bit different than expected. Yes we’ve spent an awesome time with our great friends Iain and Jackie Watson from Manchester (thanks guys you rock!), including enjoying a meal in jail, some small talk over Sainsbury chicken schnnnetchel (a few beers later) as well as emerging in some of those late night discussions about the meaning of life and why relationships are such great mirrors to us.

All good.

Then came London, and string theory sets in…

Within a 48 hour period we were weirdly tucked into a rollercoaster journey of ‘coincedential’ incidents that left us in jaw-drop-mode as we looked back later to reflect.

This is what happened in that short period of time:

  • We invite a few people to a meet-and-greet in an old London Pub. Only one person ultimately pitches who ends up explaining to us the importance of a tripritite, provides insight into the “Joker persona” and emphasises the power of our relationship in a few sentences. Check.

  • A special new Facebook friend drives 100 miles to have an ½ hour meeting with us before one of Mike’s public appearances. We love her instantly and want to be part of her Mobile App and great team of world influencers that she has attracted. We all hug and move on. Check.

  • Mike blows the audience of Public Speakers Association in London away with probably one of his best key note speeches ever. Our facebook requests start buzzing with fresh and powerfully new associations, welcoming new friends and impressive deal-makers. The day has been a raging success. Check.

  • We end up right next to the reknowned and original Rosetta Stone! Read more about Mike’s views on this mysterious stone in his upcoming blog called “Can anyone read hieroglyphs?” Check.

  • We experience a day of firsts for Mike (if you know him, you will know that he has been everywhere and has seen many things..) – his first time in Camden Town, his first time at the British museum, his first time in a quant little theatre in Soho watching “The Commitments”… Check.

  • … and guess what? That leads to our first in-depth converstation with each other about commitment. Probably very much needed at this stage of our relationship, but very easy to not notice if we don’t allow ourselves to be swept away by the romance that string theory brings. Check.

  • We realize that here we are together in London, which for me is almost EXACTLY 10 years (with only a few days apart) after I left Wimbledon, wondering if I will ever be back. Check.

So there we find ourselves sitting – 48 hours later - blown away, in an American Diner that brings war and vegan food together, listening to war tunes from the seventies and suddenly understanding how the dots connected for us – automatically and remarkably!

We got it. Everything connects. Everyone unites. Gifted to us in the UNITED KINGDOM! Answers have been provided through a strange influx of happenings in a very compressed period of time. Coincidence?

We say not.
